Pankhin Project Phase-3 is being implemented with a target of issuing ID cards to over 400,000 people by October 31, 2025 to ensure that every citizen can vote, according to the Ministry of Immigration and Population.
When issuing ID cards, those who are still to be processed under the previous Pankhin projects, those who will turn 18 years old, and those who do not have ID cards will be included. It is learnt that the Pankhin Project Phase-3 is being carried out with the activities such as issuing ID cards, compiling accurate voter lists, conducting a nationwide census, providing effective services to the public with accurate voter lists through the e-ID system and systematically supervising immigration and foreigner detention activities.

With the Pankhin projects, activities on conducting household contents census and issuing National Scrutiny Cards are being carried out, and so far, over 9.1 million ID cards for citizens, guest citizens, individuals who can become eligible for citizenship have been issued, according to the ministry.
