As there were strong winds and rains in Mandalay at night on April 5, temporary tents were damaged, and temporarily sheltered people at the Thudhamma Zayat and areas west of the Zayat are in urgent need of food, medicine, temporary tents, blankets, mosquito nets and pillows.
Due to the strong winds and rains, temporary tents around the Mandalay Moat where earthquake-affected people are temporarily sheltering have been damaged.

Currently, they are temporarily sheltering at the Thuddamma Zayat and areas west of the Zayat located on 65th Street, South 12th Street, north of the moat wall, in Aungmyethazan Township, Mandalay.
The main needs of the temporary sheltered people are temporary tents, blankets, mosquito nets and pillows, according to earthquake-affected people.
Although donors have come to donate food, only a few of the earthquake-affected people in temporary shelters have received it, and they are still in need of food.
