The second phase of the Sea-gull anti- Zhàpiàn campaign will begin to maintain rules of law and order with the collaborations of six countries: Myanmar, China, Cambodia, Loas, Thailand and Viet Nam, according to a statement released by Chinese Embassy in Myanmar. A meeting to review the second phase of Sea-gull collaboration campaign was held in Kunming, China on January 21, and representatives from Myanmar Ministry of Home Affairs attended the meeting

Every side of stake holders agreed that Sea-gull campaign is an effective collaboration of law enforcement resources from various country to combat the communications scams and arm trafficking and an irreplaceable regional law enforcement cooperation platform as well as it carried out expected outcomes and protected effectively the security and stability in the region.
In carrying out the Sea-gull campaign to maintain rules of order, the relevant countries investigated 160 criminal cases focused on telecommunication frauds, arrested more than 70,000 people and rescued 160 people.

Therefore, the second phase of Sea-gull collaboration campaign will begin at a convenient time in this year and continuously focus on attacking communication frauds and serial crimes. Furthermore, utmost efforts will be made to rescue the people who disappear and locked in various countries and protect, protect the security of life and property of people and the safety and security of the region.
