Three armed people entered and robbed at gun point the grocery store named Kyaythee, on the main road between Lower Loisaton Village and Yang Khaung Village in Wan Lone Village Tract, Tachilek Township, said a responsible person of the village.
Three men intered the grocery store about 8.pm March 3 and robbed 7,000 bahts from the shop and drove away in a car taken by force after beating and tying up the shop owner and his wife at gunpoint. The shop keeper and the responsible person said that as the robbers did not wear facemasks the recognized them if they saw them.
The grocery store where the incident occurred was occupied by only the owner and his wife. The relevant authorities have been informed about the incident and efforts are being made to arrest the perpetrator as soon as possible.
