Myanmar police force stated that Ks. 860 million worth of drug is seized in Hlaing and Hlegu townships in Yangon Region. Acting on a tip-off, when the three men were searched at the end of Malamyaing (6) street, (16) ward, Haling township and seized 20 kilogram of methamphetamine( Ice) inside their luggage.
According to the investigation, another two men were arrested together with 366,000 stimulant tablets at Daungmeegwat village, Hlegu township on January 16. The statement said that the other man who possessed stimulant tablets was also arrested at Thapyaygone market, Zabuthiri township,Nay Pyi Taw on January 17.
In addition, action has been taken against the six men under THE NARCOTICS DRUG AND PSYCHOTROPIC SUBSTANCE LAW. , and ongoing investigation is underway to apprehend others involved in the case.
