A robbery took place at Shwe Zamani gold shop in Chanmyathazi Township, Mandalay, on April 28 afternoon according to Chanmyathazi Township Police.
The incident occurred at around 3 pm on April 28 when five men, two wearing camouflage dress and three wearing civilian clothes, arrived at the gold shop on 55th Street, near 103rd and 104th Streets, Aungpinle Ward, in a black Honda Insight vehicle.
After entering the shop, the five men brandished two handguns and took away 23 ticals of gold and an iPhone 11. Security personnel are conducting a cordon and search operation to arrest the five men who robbed the shop.
