The Kayin Border Guard Force (BGF) released a statement on January 22 saying it will cooperate with the Government and international organizations to combat online scams (Zhapian).
The BGF has been implementing legal projects by inviting international investment for regional development. In doing so, it has been found that some unscrupulous investors have also operated crimes, and it totally rejects and prohibits such crimes, unscrupulousness and human trafficking, the statement said.

The statement also stated that BGF will cooperate with local partner organizations, local authorities, the Government, international organizations and international representatives to prevent and combat criminals.
The Chinese Embassy in Myanmar has also announced that six countries, Myanmar, China, Cambodia, Laos, Thailand, and Vietnam, will begin the second phase of the Zin Yaw law enforcement cooperation campaign to combat online scamming.
