In the e-ID system, people can check their personal data through online whether they match the official records, according to Myanmar’s Electronic Identification (e-ID) Department under The Ministry of Immigration and Manpower, Myanmar.
By using the online application, people can check whether their personal data in their national identification card and the information in the household demographic census form (66/6) matches the official records.
In checking the data, it necessary for the people to fill in their personal information correctly, and it will also be necessary to take action themselves to ensure the security of the information. The verified information can be reviewed with a QR Code and in replying the enquiry, personal information details will not be disclosed, just whether it is correct or not will reply for the sake of Data Privacy, the statement said.
The personal data can be checked on https://service.eid.gov.mm and the guidance for the use of online application can be seen on e-ID Department Facebook Page.
