The number of people who came to Satu Ditha (feast given in charity for all comers) has more than before, said Ma Khaing Mon Kyaw, incharge of Htaik Thupan Nutrition Group in Uttarathiri Township, Nay Pyi Taw.
Formerly, one out of six member family came to the feast, but nowadays almost all of the family members came to eat because of rising commodity prices and other difficulties, so the number rose more than before, Ma Khaing Mon Kyaw said.
Htaik Thupan offered early morning snacks and evening meals such as rice, curry, fish paste and soft drinks in a variety daily. They have done this kind of donation for more than 4 years.
Some of the Satu Ditha comers said that they felt very happy for the feast offered in such a time of rising prices and facing difficulties in the livelihood and wished to come out more donors.
