Some foreign countries, which claim to be defending democracy, are supporting and encouraging armed terror attacks that are directly or indirectly against the democratic system, said State Administration Council (SAC) Chairman Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing.
It was emphasized in the message of SAC Chairman sent to the ceremony to mark the 73rd Anniversary of Kayah State Day on 15 January 2025. The message pointed out to be aware that these countries aim to manipulate our country and delay the people’s desire for a multiparty democratic system, ultimately supporting a dictatorship disguised as democracy.
The state government will implement necessary measures to hold general election and must continue to implement a genuine and disciplined multiparty democratic system, which reflects the will of the people and make utmost efforts to hold free and fair general election, mentioned in the message of Senior General Min Aung Hlaing.
