A high-level Myanmar delegation led by SAC Chairman Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing departed for Russia from Nay Pyi Taw Military Airport on the morning of March 3.
The official state-level goodwill visit was accompanied by members of SAC, Union Ministers of the Government, and high-ranking officials.
During the visit, he will hold talks with Russian government officials including the Russian President Mr. Vladimir Putin, Russian Prime Minister and the Speaker of the Russian State Duma .
Then he will proceed to the Republic of Belarus and hold talks with the President of Belarus and the Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus.
During the visit he will discuss matters related to further promote friendship between the two governments and people, economy, security and strategic cooperation in all sectors.
In addition, it is reported that MoUs on cooperation between the two governments are to be signed during the visit.
The SAC Chairman Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing had also visited Russia in September 2022 and met with Russian President Putin and government ministers.
