The Restoration Council of Shan State (RCSS) issued a statement on February 25, urging relevant organizations to hold face-to-face discussions and resolve the issue for peace, sustainability, and the building of a federal democratic union.
The statement was issued after two days meeting of the Restoration Council of Shan State (RCSS) anniversary held on February 24 and 25. At the anniversary meeting, matters related to politic, military, administration and economy were elaborately discussed and future tasks were laid down.
RCSS will carried out regional administration activities hand in hand with the local residents in rural and urban areas, according to the statement.
Furthermore, the statement declared that RCSS will strive to solve political problems in Myanmar through face- to-face discussion means.
