The National Solidarity and Peacemaking Negotiation Committee (NSPNC), EAOs, who signed NCA, and political parties started holding a tripartite Peace Talk 2025 on March 24 at the National Solidarity and Peacemaking Center in Nay Pyi Taw.
The peace talk is to be held from March 24 to 26 with the aim of enabling prominent figures, scholars, and professionals from various sectors to further focus on the peace process, raising public awareness that only non-violent means will lead to the perpetual peace and developing short-term and long-term processes that will reduce conflicts in the country as soon as possible and ensure improvement of the political and economic situation.

NSPNC members, retired senior military officers, JMC representatives, representatives of EAOs, representatives of political parties, those involved in the peace process, eligible participants, officials of ministries , organizations and associations, and observers are attending it.
At the opening ceremony of the talk on March 24, Member of the State Administration Council Union Minister for Border Affairs NSPNC Chairman Lt-Gen Yar Pyae delivered an opening speech. NSPNC Secretary Lt-Gen Min Naing explained the purpose and plans of the talk to the attendees. After that, officials of respective organizations attending the talk extended greetings. Roundtable discussions at the talk are divided into two groups: the political and security sector and the economic and national development sector.
