The Union Chief Justice U Tha Htay has instructed judges to prepare and study the use of AI technology to improve the judicial sector.
He gave the instruction on February 13 at the virtual meeting with chief judges and judges of region and state courts, self-administered regions, self-administered zones and district courts.

The courts are to conduct trials properly and quickly in accordance with the law and make efforts to develop the judicial system that wins public trust and reliance, Chief Justice U Tha Htay said at the meeting. He also said that it is necessary to conduct court proceedings on bond cases involving suspects without delay and complete the cases within the appropriate time.
In addition, it is not enough for judges to simply perform their judicial duties but they must also constantly study the changing times and focus on improving their own skills in line with the times, he said.
