The State Administration Council issued an order dated December 18 stating that the Industrial Development Commission has been established to implement development of the industrial sector in full swing.
The Commission is chaired by Deputy Prime Minister and Union Minister for Transport and Communications General Mya Htun Oo, and Union Minister for Industry Dr. Charlie Than acts as vice-chairman.
The order states that the commission consists of a total of 16 members and that the duties and authorities of the commission will be announced separately.
