A Myanmar delegation led by,Chairman of the State Administration Council, who is on a state visit to the Russian Federation, met with a delegation led by Alexander Buglov, head of the Saint Petersburg Government, at the Government Guest House in Saint Petersburg, Russian Federation at 8:00 pm local time on March 5.
Together with Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, the meeting was also attended by Joint Secretary of SAC General Ye Win Oo, SAC Member General Nyo Saw, Deputy Prime Minister Union Minister for Foreign Affairs U Than Swe, National Security Advisor to the SAC Chairman Admiral Moe Aung, and Myanmar Ambassador to Russia U Thit Lin Ohn.
After the meeting, Senior General Min Aung Hlaing and Deputy Prime Minister Union Minister for Foreign Affairs U Than Swe attended the opening ceremony of the Myanmar Consulate General in Saint Petersburg and formally opened it. After that, the Myanmar delegation led by Senior General Min Aung Hlaing was hosted by Head of the Saint Petersburg Government Alexander Buglov with a dinner in honor of the delegation.
