The Myanmar delegation led by the Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, who had been on a state visit to the Russian Federation and Belarus, returned to Nay Pyi Taw Military Airport on March 9 evening.
The Myanmar delegation led by Senior General Min Aung Hlaing was warmly welcomed by SAC Vice Chairman Deputy Prime Minister Vice Senior General Soe Win, the SAC Secretary and members, union ministers, senior military officers of the Office of the Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services, the Nay Pyi Taw Council Chairman, the Nay Pyi Taw Military Command Commander and officials, officials of the Russian Embassy in Myanmar, interfaith organizations, artists, students and local people.

During the visit, Senior General Min Aung Hlaing held exclusive meetings with President of the Russian Federation Mr. Vladimir Putin and President of Belarus Mr. Alexander Lukashenko and bilateral talks and reached agreements to enhance multi-sectoral cooperation and successfully sign agreements and MoUs between the two countries. The SAC Chairman also met with government officials of Russia and Belarus including the prime ministers, speakers of national assembly and officials of both countries as well as regional officials.
In addition, the SAC Chairman attended the Myanmar-Russia and Myanmar-Belarus business forums, where businessmen from both countries successfully agreed to establish economic cooperation with Myanmar. During this visit, Myanmar consulate general offices could be successfully opened in the cities of St. Petersburg and Novosibirsk, Russian Federation, and the SAC Chairman also met with the Director General of the Russian State Space Corporation (ROSCOSMOS).
