The Department of Archaeology and National Museums has conducted assessments for the restoration and maintenance of ancient heritage buildings in areas such as Mandalay, Innwa, Pinya, Plaig, Makara, and Sagaing by UNESCO guidelines forming eight teams, said U Tin Oo Lwin, Union Minister for Religious Affairs and Culture.
Union Minister U Tin Oo Lwin made the remarks while inspecting the ancient buildings in the ancient town of Innwa, Tada Oo District, Mandalay Region, along with Deputy Minister Daw Nu Mya Zan, Mandalay Region Minister for Social Affairs U Aung Kyaw Moe, and officials from the Department of Archaeology and National Museums and the Department of Religious Affairs on the morning of April 29.

When repairing the rare wooden artwork that serves as the backdrop for the ornamental throne, all parts should be systematically numbered and removed.
