The Myanmar delegation led by Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister, who arrived in Russia on a state visit, visited the Myanmar Theravada Buddhist Centre in Moscow on March 3 evening local time.
The delegation led by the SAC Chairman and Prime Minister arrived at the Saddhammajottika Theindaw, Myanmar Theravada Buddhist Centre, and took their seats. After that, the ceremony was opened with the Sayadaws reciting Namo Tassa, and the visiting delegation took the Five Precepts from the Sayadaws.

Afterwards, the SAC Chairman and delegation members listened to the Dhamma from the Sayadaws and offered alms to the Sayadaws who delivered a sermon, and the merits gained were shared.
After that, the delegation led by the SAC Chairman and Prime Minister left for the hotel where they will stay in Moscow.

The Myanmar high-level delegation, who are on a state visit to Russia at the invitation of Russian President Vladimir Putin, was led by Chairman of State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing accompanied by Joint Secretary of SAC General Ye Win Oo, Member of SAC General Nyo Saw, Union Ministers U Than Swe, Admiral Moe Aung, Dr. Kan Zaw, U Ko Ko Lwin, Dr. Myo Thein Kyaw and Chief Minister of Bago Region U Myo Swe Win, senior military officers of the Office of the Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services, deputy ministers, businessmen and military and civilian officials.
In addition, 2025 is the 77th anniversary of Russia-Myanmar diplomatic relations. Bilateral relations, exchange of state-level visits between the countries and bilateral cooperation in various sectors have been making progress and will continue to be promoted.
