Plans are being made to provide cash assistance to beneficiaries of the financial assistance program on social protection, which is a social pension for elderly people aged 85 and above, and a financial assistance program for pregnant mothers and their children under 2 years old through Myanmar Economic Bank branches in the 2024-2025 fiscal year, Vice-Senior General Soe Win who is chairman of the committee, said.
In addition, officials are to ensure that no child under the age of 2 is left behind when making arrangements to provide them. Similarly, employers should consider providing assistance to their employees in various ways, he added.
