Chairman of State Administration Council Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing urged military personnel to willingly carry out tasks contributing to the benefits of the people with the spirit of “the the people are the mother and father of the soldiers” in their public welfare activities outside military units.
He made the remarks in his address delivered at the Passing Out Parade of Thura Company of the 128th Intake of the Officers Training Course of Defence Services (Army) Officers Training School (Bahtoo) held on February 21.

If the unity between the Tatmadaw and the people is weak, it will not be able to fully and effectively carry out national defence tasks. Therefore, it is necessary to give special consideration to carrying out the organizing work outside military units, the Senior General said.
After graduating, each individual must act with a sense of conscience in discharging assigned duties to become a good officer, the Senior General said, urging the cadets to continue to preserve the good traditions and history of the Tatmadaw who stood tall in front role in defending the nation in the successive governments and eras.
