Collaboration of women associations,civil societies and alliances with government is needed for the development of women sector, said Chairman of the Myanmar National Committee for Women’s Affairs (MNCWA) Union Minister for Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement Dr. Soe Win.

The remark was given at the opening ceremony of the 21st Annual Meeting of the Myanmar Women’s Affairs Federation held at the Thiri Yadana Hall of the Myanmar Women’s Affairs Federation office in Nay Pyi Taw on February 26. In order to develop the lives of women, 176 household vocational training courses have been given from April to January of the 2024-2025 financial year, and 594 participants were able to find jobs out of 4,222 trainees.

Daw Kyu Kyu Hla, Honorary Patron of the Myanmar Women’s Affairs Federation, wife of the Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister attended the ceremony and presented awards for outstanding performance and coverage in women’s development activities. The ceremony will be held two days from February to February 27.
