The Myanmar Fire Service announced that cash, jewellery and household items found in collapsed buildings in Nay Pyi Taw and Mandalay Regions following the powerful earthquake, have been returned to their owners.
On April 29, the Myanmar Fire Brigade used machinery to clear and remove the bodies from Sky Villa buildings C and D. During their efforts, they discovered 10 jade bracelets, as well as raw gemstones and cuttings, in building C. These items have been handed over to the Property Transfer Team, which is working to return them to their rightful owners.

On April 29, the Yangon Region search and rescue team carried out clean-up operations at the collapsed building No. 604 located in Bawga Theiddi Ward, Zambuthiri Township, Nay Pyi Taw. During these operations, cash, jewelry, small equipment, and important documents were discovered in rooms 2, 4, 5, and 24. These items were subsequently returned to their rightful owners.
Furthermore, several items and important documents were discovered in room No. 2/36 of Bala Theiddi Ward, Zabuthiri Township, Nay Pyi Taw, during the clearance of the collapsed building on April 29. These items have been returned to their rightful owners, according to the report.
