Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, who is on a state visit to the Russian Federation, met with Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation Mr. Andrey Removich Belousov on March 5 morning local time at the conference hall of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
Together with Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, it was also attended by Joint Secretary of SAC General Ye Win Oo, SAC Member General Nyo Saw, the Union Minister of Ministry-1 at the Office of the Chairman of the State Administration Council, National Security Advisor General Moe Aung, Myanmar Ambassador to the Russian Federation U Thit Lin Ohn, senior military officers of the Office of the Commander-in-Chief (Army) and the Myanmar Military Attachés (Army, Navy, Air Force). Together with the Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation were Secretary of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Mr. Sergei Shoigu, officials of the Ministry of Defense and senior military officers of the Russian Armed Forces.
At the meeting, they discussed multi-sectoral cooperation between the two countries in the defense sector, improvement and further enhancement of civil-military relations between the two countries and the two militaries, cooperation in humanitarian assistance and cooperation in military technologies.
