Myanmar will continue to enhance the momentum of ongoing projects with China and continue to establish itself as a trustworthy and friendly neighboring country to China, said Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing. The Senior General Min Aung Hlaing highlighted these words at the Chinese New Year celebration held at the National Indoor Stadium in Thuwunna in Yangon on January 25, 2025.
Senior General Min Aung Hlaing said that he would like to request China to continue to assist Myanmar’s peace process and national development efforts.The responsible persons and people of the two countries should pay special attention because the groups at home and abroad who do not want friendly relations between Myanmar and China are using various methods to cause dissension between the two countries.
Senior General Min Aung Hlaing also urged the people of Myanmar, China Myanmar associations in Myanmar, Chinese descents in Myanmar and Chinese nationals working in Myanmar to continue to strive to ensure that China and Myanmar remain as strong and lasting good neighbors and good friends.
