Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing met with Governor of the Novosibirsk Region Mr. Travnikov Andrey Alexandrovich at the conference hall of the Grand Autograph Hotel in Novosibirsk on March 9 to discuss enhancement of interaction and cooperation between Myanmar and the city of Novosibirsk in Russia.
Present at the meeting also were SAC Joint Secretary General Ye Win U, SAC Member General Nyo Saw, union ministers, Myanmar Ambassador to Russia U Thit Lin Ohn and officials of the Government of the Novosibirsk Region.
At the meeting, they discussed the progress of cooperation between Myanmar and the Novosibirsk region, the tourism and trade activities of the two countries, further development of friendship through bilateral cooperation, the presence of Myanmar officer trainees studying at universities in Novosibirsk, the direct flight between Novosibirsk and Mandalay, Myanmar, and the possibility of exporting products to each other.
After the meeting, the SAC Chairman and the Governor of the Novosibirsk Region exchanged gifts and had a documentary photo taken.
