China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC) donated emergency relief supplies worth 200,000 US dollars to the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, Mandalay Region Government and Myanmar Red Cross Society on April 8.
At the donation ceremony, Mr. Ouyang Daobing, Economic Attaché of the Chinese Embassy in Myanmar, explained the reason for the donation.

At the event, CNPC donated rice and oil worth 50,000 US dollars to the Ministry of Energy, and rice and oil worth 50,000 US dollars to the Mandalay Region Government as well as instant noodles. The Myanmar Red Cross Society also received rice and oil worth 100,000 US dollars.
The donated supplies will be delivered to the earthquake-affected areas. In addition to these donations, CNPC will also help the earthquake-affected areas to quickly return to normal life.
