Chairman of State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing emphasized the need for systematic security measures to be implemented in regions and states to ensure that a multi-party democratic general elections can be held in December. Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, who is also the chairman of the commission, made the remarks at a meeting of the National Planning Commission held on March 24.

The state is striving for the development and economic growth; however, vandalism has caused significant damage to essential infrastructure, including roads, bridges, electric towers, power plants, schools, and hospitals. This destruction hampers progress in national development, and development projects cannot be carried out in unstable regions. Senior General Min Aung Hlaing noted that “The tiger eats the deer whenever the deer gives birth,” as the saying goes, such circumstances lead to stagnation and hinder advancement.

Together with the security system improvements, domestic and foreign investments will increase therefore all should work together to make national projects successful. In addition, to improve the economic strength of a country, it is necessary to strive to achieve the GDP target and take practical steps to achieve the desired results in national and local projects, Senior General Min Aung Hlaing said.
