Efforts will be made to hold more Peace Talks periodically, said member of State Administration Council Chairman of the National Solidarity and Peacemaking Negotiation Committee (NSPNC) Union Minister for Border Affairs Lt. Gen. Kyaw Ya Pyae. He made the remarks at the closing ceremony of the “Peace Talk 2025” held at the National Unity and Peacemaking Center (NSPC) in Nay Pyi Taw on March 26.
He also noted that efforts would be made to involve all sectors and all levels in future peace talks. The findings and recommendations from the current peace talks will be presented to the Chairman of SAC Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, and efforts will be made to implement them in practical situations, said Lt. Gen. Yar Pyae. The Peace Talk 2025 took place for three days from March 24 to 26 at the National Solidarity and Peacemaking Center (NSPC) in Nay Pyi Taw.

The discussion was attended by members of NSPNC, retired military officers, Joint Management Committee (JMC) representatives, representatives of ethnic armed groups that have signed the NCA, political party representatives, individuals involved in the peace process, those who should participate, officials from ministries and organizations, associations, and observers. The discussions were organized into two groups.
