It is learnt that the property at No. 54 on University Avenue Road in Yangon was auctioned for 297 billion kyats for the third time on February 5 morning but there were no buyers to make bids for the property. At the third auction, the court bailiff officer asked three times if there were any buyers who make a bid for the auction but no one came out to do it.

The auction was attended by local and foreign media and interested people. A report will be submitted to the Kamayut District Court on February 6 regarding the third auction, U Aung San Oo’s lawyer told One News. The Kamayut District Court set the third auction for the property at No. 54 at a floor price of 297 billion kyats at the hearing on December 18, 2024.

The property at No. 54 was first auctioned for 315 billion kyats on March 20, 2024, but there were no buyers to offer bids for the auction. It was auctioned for the second time on August 15, 2024, at the floor price of 300 billion kyats but there is no one to do it. It is leant that the property includes a 1.923-acre plot with the land title in the name of late Daw Khin Kyi, wife of martyr leader General Aung San.
