Compound No. 54, located on University Avenue Road in Yangon, had its fourth auction on April 29 at 10 a.m. for a starting price of Ks. 270 billion. But, no bidders were present, U Aung San Oo’s lawyer told One News. The auction took place in front of Compound No. 54 in Bahan Township, but no potential buyers were reached.

U Aung San Oo’s lawyer said that a report concerning the unsuccessful auction would be submitted to the Kamaryut District Court on April 30. Compound No. 54 was first auctioned on March 20, 2024, with a price of Ks. 315 billion. The second auction took place on August 15, 2024, starting at Ks. 300 billion, and the third auction was held on February 5, 2024, with a starting price of Ks. 297 billion. This compound, registered to Daw Khin Kyi, the wife of Myanmar independence leader General Aung San, is said to cover an area of 1.923 acres.
