The Kamayut District Court rejected U Aung San Oo’s application to sell Compound No.54 on University Avenue Road, Yangon, in half on June 12, U Aung San Oo’s lawyer told One News. He said that the rejection order will be followed up in accordance with legal procedures.
Daw Aung San Suu Kyi’s legal team filed an objection to the application to sell the compound No. 54 in half at the court hearing on June 5. U Aung San Oo’s side applied at the court hearing on May 29 to sell the remaining one acre of land first, leaving 0.923 acre of the land out of 1.923 acre compound No.54. It was auctioned for Ks.270 billion for the fourth time on April 29, but no bidders took part.
