A new postage stamp worth Ks.2,400, a special issue of Block Of Stamp commemorating the costumes of the past eras, will be sold on June 20, according to the Myanmar Post under the Ministry of Transport and Communications.
The new postage stamp will be sold simultaneously at Nay Pyi Taw Central Post Office, Yangon General Post Office, Mandalay General Post Office, and regional and state post offices from 9:30 a.m. on June 20.

In addition, as a special program, postage stamps purchased on June 20 at Nay Pyi Taw Central Post Office, Yangon General Post Office, and Mandalay General Post Office will be stamped with date stamps.
The new stamp is being issued to revive Myanmar’s traditional cultural heritage, encouraging the younger generation to pay greater attention to the traditional clothing worn by males and females throughout history. Additionally, it aims to enable stamp collectors to gather previously issued stamps alongside this new release.
