The Myanmar-China Chekiang Chamber of Commerce donated food supplies worth over Ks.900 million to earthquake victims in Yamethin District, Mandalay Region.
The donation was held on April 6 at the General Administration Department of Yamethin Township. The District General Administrator of Yamethin expressed gratitude for the donation, and the Chairman of the Myanmar-China Chekiang Chamber of Commerce explained the reason for the donation.
Then, the Chairman of the Myanmar-China Chekiang Chamber of Commerce and officials donated relief supplies to the earthquake-stricken people. The Administrator of the District General Administration Department of Yamethin and officials received the items.
The donation covered 6 bags of rice, 50 ticals of cooking oil, one packet of dried noodles, one packet of one liter bottle of purified drinking water, 10 shirts for men and women, and 10 masks were donated per household totaling 1,000 earthquake-stricken households in Yamethin District. The total value of the donation was Ks.928 million.
