STORY: Washington, D.C. became a vibrant center of Chinese culture as the annual Washington Chinese Cultural Festival was celebrated near the Capitol Hill on Saturday. The festival showcased art, food and traditions.
Chinese Ambassador to the U.S. Xie Feng sees the event as a chance to bridge cultures and build friendship between China and the U.S.
U.S.-China Business Council President Craig Allen also addressed the event.
Without the need to travel afar, American people can have a taste of Chinese culture: its cuisines, Peking opera, Go game, clay sculpture, Tai Chi, martial arts and many more.
