Deputy Prime Minister and Union Minister of Foreign Affairs U Than Swe receives the Chinese Ambassador to Myanmar, Mrs. Ma Jiar in Nay Pyi Taw on August 27 and discussed issues related to promoting mutual support in international platforms, including the United Nations, Chinese Embassy in Myanmar announced.
Ambassador Ms. Ma Jia said that she will continue to spread China-Myanmar traditional friendship and promote China-Myanmar community building to become a reality during her tenure, according to announcement.
Union Minister U Than Swe also said that important agreements were got during Chinese Foreign Minister Mr. Wan Yi’s visit and hoped to push for new dynamic developments in Myanmar-China relations.
It is also announed that both sides continue to protect and maintain the stability and peace of Myanmar, supporting Myanmar’s economic and public development, protecting the safety of Chinese projects and employees in Myanmar, promoting mutual support and encouragement at international platforms including the United Nations.
