According to the Mandalay Region Fire Department, 52 survivors and 103 bodies have been recovered from the Sky Villa Condo that collapsed due to the Mandalay earthquake on March 28 in Mandalay as of noon on April 22.
The Myanmar Rescue Team, members of Myanmar Fire Department, and Mandalay City Council personnel are clearing the sites damaged by the earthquake using machinery. Rescue operations began on March 28 at the Sky Villa Condo, which was destroyed by the earthquake. The work to clear the buildings where the bodies are still buried and recover the bodies is still underway.
