Union Minister for Health Dr. Thet Khaing Win met with a delegation led by Mr. Zhou Xiaofeng of Beijing Hong Feng Investment Limited at the ministry on February 27 and discussed health cooperation.
At the meeting, they discussed current cooperation between Myanmar and China in healthcare services and the introduction of modern medical and hospital equipment manufactured in China in Myanmar. In addition, Beijing Hong Feng Investment discussed the possibility of domestic production, distribution and investment of modern medical and hospital equipment, diagnostic equipment, machines and laboratory testing equipment that meet Myanmar’s needs.
It was also attended by the deputy minister and directors general of the Ministry of Health, representatives of Beijing Hong Feng Investment and officials of the ministry.
