Dr. Win Kyaing, chairman of the Myanmar Pharmaceutical and Medical Device Manufacturer Association (MPMDMA), said that the drugs needed by the people have been sold at affordable prices, similar to those sold by pharmaceutical companies, for the second time. The drugs have been reportedly sold since February 3.

Under the guidance of the Ministry of Commerce and managed by the Myanmar Pharmaceutical and Medical Device Manufacturer Association (MPMDMA), the second time sale of medicines was started at Myanmar Trade Promotion Organization (MyanTrade), Yangon Region office, at the corner of Merchant Road and No.(30) street, starting from February 3. Currently, more than 60 pharmaceutical companies participated in the sale with a full range of over 1,000 kinds of medicines.

The second sale of drugs will be conducted from February 3, to February 5, from Monday to Friday, from 9.am to 4.pm. The first sale by collaboration of the Myanmar Pharmaceutical and Medical Device Manufacturers Association and pharmaceutical companies was performed in July and August in 2024 opening sale centers in Yangon, Nay Pyi Taw and Bago Region.
