The Chinese Embassy in Myanmar announced that the Chinese rescue teams that arrived to carry out earthquake relief operation in Myanmar left Nay Pyi Taw on the morning of April 9 aboard four Chinese Air Force Y-20 aircraft after completing their rescue work.
The returning rescue teams were the China International Rescue Team, which includes Chinese rescue teams and Chinese soldiers, and the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of China rescue teams.

Before leaving Myanmar, a farewell ceremony was held for the Chinese rescue teams on April 8, and Vice-Chairman of the State Administration Council Deputy Prime Minister Vice-Senior General Soe Win attended and delivered a speech.
The Chinese rescue teams were seen off at the airport by Union Minister for Home Affairs Lt-Gen Tun Tun Naung, Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs U Lwin Oo, and Chargé d’Affaires of the Chinese Embassy in Myanmar Ms. Cao Jing, the statement said.
Additionally, four Y-20 aircraft carrying a total of 104 tons of humanitarian aid and medical supplies from China arrived at Nay Pyi Taw Military Airport on the morning of April 9 and were handed over. The Chinese rescue teams departed Nay Pyi Taw on these four aircraft.
