UNICEF Myanmar has announced that it will provide a monthly cash assistance of 42,000 kyats to children with disabilities aged 2 to 18 years with severe or very severe disabilities.
The cash assistance aims to enable the families to use for health, nutrition, hygiene, education, disability aids and rehabilitation for their children with disabilities. Children who have been verified as having severe or very severe disabilities will receive the cash assistance provided by UNICEF Myanmar.
The cash assistance will be disbursed directly to the beneficiary children every two months through Wave Money, and a maximum of three children per household will be supported.
