The first-ever World Audio Visual & Entertainment Summit (WAVES) 2025 is being held at the Jio World Convention Center in Mumbai, India, on May 1.
The summit is held under the theme of “India: The Hub of Innovation”, and a Myanmar delegation led by Deputy Minister for Information U Ye Tint is participating in it.
In addition, leading figures, policymakers and innovators in the areas of media and entertainment from 75 countries around the world as well as famous Indian artists are also attending the summit.

The summit aims to explore opportunities in the areas of media and entertainment, address challenges and shape the future of the media and entertainment industry. The summit kicked off on May 1 and will be held until 4.
The four-day summit will focus on cooperating innovation and progress through connecting stakeholders from all sectors of the global media and entertainment industry, establishing strong partnerships to open up new areas and fostering cultural exchanges that transcend national borders.
