A Myanmar-China friendship art exhibition is being held for five days from May 31 to June 4 at Bo Myat Tun Tower, Botahtaung Township, Yangon.
The art exhibition is being held for the first time with the aim of promoting Myanmar-China friendship and promoting the exchange of art. The exhibition includes oil paintings, watercolors and modern paintings by Myanmar artists as well as calligraphy paintings by Chinese artists.

The Chinese calligraphy paintings on display at the art exhibition are composed of inspiring calligraphy, and each painting has its own meaning, U Maw Li Shwe, chairman of the Myanmar-China Calligraphy Art Association.
In addition to the paintings, there are also sculptures made of sandalwood and small sculptures made of eaglewood on display. The paintings and sculptures displayed at the exhibition will be sold with prices ranging from 500,000 to one million kyats. The proceeds from the sales will be donated to a Chinese calligraphy competition. The establishment of diplomatic relations between Myanmar and China will be 75 years old on June 8.
