71th Bangkok Gems and Jewelry Fair launched at Queen Sirikit National Convention Center on February 22.
This event has been held under the supervision of the Ministry of Commerce of Thailand for more than 40 years. Currently, it is jointly organized by the Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP) and the Gemological Institute of Thailand (GIT).
According to the exhibition officials, the objectives of the event are to serve as a platform for the gems and jewelry market, to provide opportunities for the gems and jewelry industry through Thailand, and to serve as a focal point for the gems and jewelry trade sector in Asia.
This event is a famous exhibition in Bangkok, Thailand, which is a large entry point of tourists. It aims to make contact Thai SMEs with businesses from various countries and to be able to learn jewelry designs in one place.

Everyone can study Gems and jewelry which include minerals, ancient designs and modern handicrafts, gold wares, silver wares, diamonds, rubies, pearls, emeralds, and other semi-precious stones, accessories, machinery and equipment used in the gemstone industry, and type of packaging models.
This event is held twice a year in February and September, and many countries around the world, including Myanmar, India, China, Japan, Sri Lanka, Cambodia, Hong Kong, and Türkiye (Turkey), participate in the event. This year’s 71st event features 2,628 exhibitors and attracts about 40,000 visitors.
Thailand is a major player in the Asian gems and jewelry market, and the event is expected to exchange knowledge about gemstones from various countries and increase Thailand’s trade value to 350 billion baht. The 71st Bangkok Gems and Jewelry Fair will be held from February 22 to 26.
