The Myanmar Fire Brigade will represent the country in the International Firefighting Competition to be held in Singapore in November, according to the Myanmar Fire Services Department. In the International Firefighting Competition, the members of Fire Brigade representing their country will compete in individual and team competitions.
Ten outstanding firefighters from the regions and states will be selected and trained to compete in the competition. The Myanmar Fire Services Department participated in the International Firefighting Competition held in Singapore for the first time in 2023, and won third place in the individual competition. In addition, the Myanmar Fire Services Department won the Best Team Leader award in the Motor Vehicle Accident Rescue Competition held in Malaysia in 2024.
