Union Minister for Information U Maung Maung Ohn met with the team led by Chairman of Shwe Min Thar Foundation (Myanmar) U Myat Thu Win at the Ministry of Information in Nay Pyi Taw on January 16 to discuss ways to connect people with disabilities to employment opportunities.
At the meeting, they discussed ways to improve morale and opportunities for people with disabilities, promote equality and cooperation in society for them and ensure full participation of the people with disabilities in the innovation area and sports sector.
They also discussed matters on connecting people with disabilities with the fields of employment, skill, and profession as well as providing TV awareness programs. In addition, the foundation is creating job opportunities for people with disabilities to work abroad.
