The Ministry of Education announced that on March 18, the second day of the 2025 matriculation exam, 208,659 candidates took the English subject, representing a nationwide participation rate of 94.48 per cent.

The 2025 matriculation exam started on March 17 and will be held without a break until March 22, according to the Department of Myanmar Examinations. A total of 817 examination centers, including 13 foreign examination centers and 804 domestic examination centers, have been opened for this year’s matriculation examination.

According to the release, 220,843 candidates registered to take the 2025 matriculation exam nationwide, including the Nay Pyi Taw Council area, and 208,659 candidates took the English subject on the second day of the exam.
