U Myo Aung, Chairman of the Sagaing District Administrative Committee, said that arrangements have been made for accommodation and food for the matriculation exam retakers from Sagaing to ensure they can study peacefully during the camping study period.
This was stated by the Chairman during a meeting with exam retakers, teachers, and parents of exam retakers at Basic Education High School No. 1 in Sagaing on the evening of April 29. Special attention has been given to drinking water, electricity, and healthcare, to ensure that classrooms, dining halls, and dormitories are clean and tidy and that they can study safely and peacefully.

The Chairman urged teachers to teach with full dedication.
A fire at Mandalay University, triggered by the earthquake on March 28th, destroyed 376,956 answer sheets belonging to 62,954 candidates from Mandalay Region, Sagaing Region, and Kachin State that were stored in the university’s main building. As a result, these candidates will need to retake the matriculation exam, which is scheduled to take place from June 16th to 21st.
