Preparations will be made to hold a special exhibition at the Bogyoke Aung San Museum (Yangon) on the 78th anniversary of Martyrs’ Day on July 19.
Therefore, the museum will be temporarily closed from June 17 to July 18 and will reopen on July 19, with free admission as in previous years.

In previous years, the special exhibition was displayed at the Bogyoke Aung San Museum (Yangon) with boards, 3D virtual tours of the Bogyoke Aung San’s residence and grounds using IT technology, an architectural design of the Bogyoke Aung San residence, photographs of items in the wardrobes of the Bogyoke Aung San residence presented through a mobile application, a 3D Holographic Fan of Bogyoke Aung San’s speeches, and a touch screen display of photo archives from the annual special events.
The Bogyoke Aung San Museum was built in 1921 on a 2.423-acre plot of land in a 20th-century European style mixed with Western architecture. Bogyoke Aung San lived in the house with his family from 1945 until his assassination on July 19, 1947.
