Arrangements are being made to open a Polytechnic Institute for those who failed the university entrance exam, Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Min Aung Hlaing said.
He made the remarks at a meeting with departmental officials and town leaders at the city hall in Kengtung, Shan State (East), on May 24 afternoon.

Students who successfully complete the first year of the Polytechnic Institute will receive a certificate, and those who successfully complete the next two years will receive a diploma, allowing them to continue their studies at the Polytechnic University. Teaching polytechnic technologies will help produce talented students and more experts in the fields of agriculture and industry. The opening of polytechnic universities that combine computers and technology has been successful, Senior General Min Aung Hlaing said.
